Detonate Festival 2021: 5 Artists We Can't Wait to See – Festicket

Nottingham, United Kingdom
This weekend sees the return of Nottingham favourite Detonate Festival, which will welcome some of underground dance music’s best DJs and artists.
Ahead of this weekend we picked out five artists from their expansive lineup that we can’t wait to get down and dirty to.
Legends of the drum and bass scene, Chase & Status show no sign of letting up. And when accompanied on stage by MC Rage, their DJ sets are packed full of ferocity as we power through the BPM, covering drum & bass, dubstep, breakbeat and grime.

Groovy, vibey and delivered with a huge smile on her face, Jayda G lights up every set she plays with her infectious dose of funk, soul and disco.

One of the UK’s best loved selectors, Skream’s broad taste in music and passion for his craft continually shines through. Master of the all-night set, Skream’s ability to seamlessly mix disco, house and techno have made him one of the country’s most treasured electronic music artists.

All aboard the Flava D bass voyage, as we party through D&B, dubstep, garage, grime and more.

Truly a global DJ, wAFF has performed around the world, from clubs in his native Hull right up to the Burning Man in the Nevada Desert. An Ibiza mainstay, wAFF’s roots remain in house music, but he is continually evolving and is notably the only British artist who’s recorded for all three European techno hubs, Sven Väth’s Cocoon, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and Loco Dice’s Desolat.
