Last year we wrote an article about entrepreneur, ‘Post’, founder of GRM Daily who has built an award-winning platform at the epicentre of UK Rap & Grime music culture for over a decade. An outlet where the very best of UK music is whole heartedly celebrated, GRM is renowned as an influential launch pad for the country’s emerging and established talent and as the hosts of Britain’s premier award ceremony for UK Rap & Grime music. Last week on August 9th they hosted their annual GRM Gala at the prestigious Victoria & Albert museum in central London. The gala, which is in its second year was in collaboration with Beats By Dr Dre and brought together artists and leading industry figures to celebrate black excellence in UK music and entertainment. Attendees included Stormzy, Fredo, Potter Payper, Ms Banks, Tion Wayne, Zeze Millz, Michael Daapah, AJ Tracey, Akala, Krept & Konan and many, many more. On the event Post said: “I was honoured to celebrate the outstanding success achieved by friends and peers at Monday’s event”.
The GRM Rated Awards will be held on Thursday September 16th virtually via their Youtube Channel.
