The UK is famous for its many glorious festivals that are adored worldwide and attract thousands of passionate music fans each year. And this year, the lineups are looking extra tasty. 
With huge lineups featuring artists such as The Chemical Brothers, Nina Kraviz, Martin Garrix, Charlotte De Witte, and Pendulum, this year is packed with some unreal events that will no doubt be the biggest, best parties of this year. This years fests are going to be ones for the books.

Field Day Festival


When: Saturday 20th August
Where: Victoria Park, London
2022 lineup: The Chemical Brothers, Kraftwerk, Cici, Daniel Avery, Eliza Rose, Emerald B2B Jossy Mitsu, and more
Field Day has always delivered some of the hottest artists in dance music, and this year will be no different. The lineup is looking stunning, with iconic electronic duo The Chemical Brothers at the top of the bill alongside German legends Kraftwerk.
Alongside these electronic music titans, we have some up and coming artists, including Cici, Daniel Avery, Floating Points, HAAi, Logic1000, Eliza Rose and more. In between acts, why not give the funfair rides and games a whirl? You might just win a prize or take an unreal birds-eye view picture of the fest. Just don’t drop your phone.

Easily one of, if not, the biggest event in any ravers calendar, Creamfields knows how to put on a killer party with a lethal lineup. The lineup for Creamfields 2022 is already massive and there are only eight names on the bill. We can’t wait to see who else will take to the stage over at one of the world’s biggest EDM festivals. 
Well-respected and adored by EDM fans around the globe, Creamfields is definitely one for the bucket list. But why wait? Tick this mammoth fest off your bucket list in 2022. Mint Festival

When: Saturday 25th September
Where: Newsam Green Farm, Leeds
2022 lineup: TBA
The self-described ’emporium of hedonism’ is back and will be raging for its tenth birthday bash. You know what that means. Yep, it’s gonna be a mad one.
Over in Leeds, Mint Festival is gearing up for the biggest party of its history. We don’t have a lineup yet, but with a milestone birthday to celebrate, we know it’s going to be tasty. Last years lineup featured some brilliant talent such as Amelie Lens, Eats Everything, Enzo Siragusa, and Annie Errez, so we’re bursting with excitement over this year’s artists. 
Leeds’ biggest party will be going down over in Newsam Green Farm, a 136-acre space overlooking Leeds city centre. Lovely. 
If thumping tunes and raving is your vibe, Mint Fest is the place to be.

Riverside Festival

Glasgow’s Riverside Festival is only getting bigger each year, and this year is going to be massive. The lineup is already looking glorious with Charlotte De Witte, Carl Cox and Roisin Murphy as headliners. Alongside those killer headliners will be Overmono, Slam, 999999999, Job Jobse, Shoot Your Shot and others who we can’t wait to see dominate the stage.
Situated on the grounds of The Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde, Riverside Festival is a unique location to discover some top talent. It is the place to be if you love electronic music in Scotland. If you’re looking for a festival with a fantastic lineup, great street food and a crowd who only care about having an amazing time, you know what to do…

Parklife

When: Saturday 11th – Sunday 12th June
Where: Heaton Park, Manchester
2022 lineup: TBA
One of the most reputable festivals in the UK, Parklife has become one of the top destinations for all the hottest artists and genres. You’ll find indie, grime, hip-hop and, most importantly, lots of unreal EDM music. 
Parklife sees the biggest acts in the world descend upon Manchester and local organisers such as The Warehouse Project are on hand to deliver a selection of stages that make other festivals feel very jealous indeed.
An immensely popular festival, Parklife 2021 sold out in just over an hour. The organisers predict a similar result this year, so for a chance to bag your tickets, it’s a good idea to sign up for the presale ASAP.

The Weekender Festival

Where: Newnham Park, Plymouth
2022 lineup: TBA
Plymouth festival, The Weekender, pulled out all the stops at last years event, so we’re buzzing to see what they pull out of the bag in 2022. Returning to its much-loved site of Newnham Park, the festival offers a range of local craft beers, local food vendors and even a funfair. 
In terms of music, the lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but if last year’s is anything to go by, we have nothing to worry about. With Jax Jones, Wilkinson, Ben Nicky, Tom Zanetti, Nathan Dawe, Sam Divine, Danny Howard, DJ Hazard all on the 2021 bill, it’ll be a tough one to beat. But we know they’ll pull it off. 
The hottest names in dance music will be spinning their tunes across four stages over the September weekend for a lucky crowd of around 8,000. And when the rave is over, you can keep the party going at two huge afterparties. It’s a guaranteed belter.

Noisily Festival

Noisily is a festival with an ethos based upon five core pillars of inclusion, environment, wellness, education, community and creativity. These five pillars advocate for a sense of community where people of shared values and beliefs go to let loose. So you know you’ll meet a like-minded group.
The festival celebrates art, focusing on psychedelic art and culture, making for some wonderful otherworldly imagery. The lineup features a range of artists from across a spectrum of electronic music, bringing in great headliners and emphasising local favourites. Noisily is an invitation into a family.
With 6,000 people entering Coney Woods over the weekend, the festival maintains an unbeatable intimate atmosphere. It’s a welcome change after a colossal event packed with people like Creamfields.

One Island Festival


When: Friday 29th – Sunday 31st July
Where: Private Island, Essex
2022 lineup: TBA
There are festival escapes and then there are remote island festival escapes. Rescheduled to this year thanks to COVID, One Island fest will take place in July and boasts a whole host of unique perks. From the sea views to the hammocks and beach shacks, this fest will be lush. And with a capacity of just 500, it’ll feel more like an exclusive holiday instead of a cramped fest.
The music on offer will be a mix of R&B, hip hop, disco and house. Expect plenty of special live performances as well as red hot DJ’s. This is an incredibly unique experience within the UK, and it’s not often you can get such an isolated experience at a festival. You can picture it now: sun, tunes, cocktails, barbecues, bonfires, and peace. Bring it on.

Hide & Seek Festival

One Out Festival

Returning for its second year, One Out Fest promises a “huge announcement” will be coming soon. With brilliant acts already on the bill including Arielle Free, Chloe Robinson, Skream and Mele, we can’t wait to see who’s announced next. The festival will be taking place in Surrey, surrounded by gorgeous countryside with fields as far as the eye can see. Amongst these fields, where there are plenty of hidden trails, you’ll find the festival site where the hottest names in dance music have gathered for the weekend. 
Located just 35 minutes from Waterloo Station and with a free shuttle bus, you have no reason to deny yourself the opportunity to escape to this dance music haven. Last year saw the first edition of the festival sell out, so if you’re considering checking One Out Festival out, keep your eyes peeled and set some alarms because it’ll no doubt sell out again this year.

Yet again, the world’s biggest electronic music stars will be coming to Edinburgh this year as Terminal V, Scotland’s biggest EDM festival, returns. Situated in a mass warehouse complex, the festival will be taking place over two days of bangers and pure bliss. With immense light shows and top tunes, this festival simply never misses.
Quickly becoming one of the largest indoor festivals in Europe, the momentum behind Terminal V is huge. It may just be one of the craziest parties of the year and has one of the best lineups of anywhere in the UK this year. If you love dance festivals, Terminal V is one to watch out for.
